It was established in 1995 by the Authority for Economic Affairs of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and the Hamburg Chamber of Crafts, plus various associations, guilds, financial institutions and the Bürgschaftsbank Hamburg GmbH.
